Yes, partnerships will be accepted. If you wish to enter as a partnership, you will need a joint Black Economic Empowerment certificate by an accredited BBBEE rating agency. If you subcontract the appointment will be through the registered professional / entity and their BBBEE certificate is to be submitted.

Yes. Should you win, the CWGC will reserve the right to request you to partner or be mentored if it is deemed you don’t have sufficient capacity or experience to undertake the project.
You must be registered as a Professional Architect or Senior Architectural technologist with the South African Council for Architectural Professionals to enter. You may collaborate with any other person.
You will need to partner or subcontract to a registered professional or entity to partake.
The names of the adjudicators will be announced with the issuing of the brief. It will consist of 4 architects, 1 client representative, 1 community representative and a local authority representative.
The evaluation criteria will be included in the brief under the competition documents.
Please message us through the website and we will remove your original registration. You can then re-register to update your submission.
Yes, but you will need to register twice with two different email addresses to ensure the website can issue you with your unique competition ID for each entry.
You are welcome to submit as an office but need to register under a person’s professional registration number rather than practice number. Please submit your personal SACAP registration certificate as a Professional Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist.
