DATA COLLECTED AND USE

The data collected by this website is for the sole purpose of facilitating the administration of the memorial competition. It will be stored securely for the duration of the competition and safely removed once the competition is closed and the website is no longer required.

We will be collecting personal data such as name and email address as well as information about your business such as BBEEE and other documentation. This is to ensure you meet the criteria of entry for the competition and can contact participants with information about the final award.

This information is mandatory in order to be able to enter the competition, as is the upload of a submission. The submission will be anonymous until the time of award, as will all contact with the commission post-registration.

RECIPIENTS OF DATA

The CWGC is working with a number of partners to facilitate the competition. These partners will require access to the data in order to carry out their roles. The data will be used purely for competition purposes and removed at the end of the competition. The third parties involved are a website agency and two competition consultancies.

RIGHT TO AMEND, REMOVE OR COMPLAIN

You may amend your personal data in the user profile of the website or contact us via the website for amends.
You may ask to have all data removed from our systems but this would automatically remove you from competition entry.

If you feel our use of data is not acceptable you have the right to complain to the Information Regulator
